EVANESCENCE's 'Fallen' Certified Gold
April 12, 2003EVANESCENCE's major-label debut, "Fallen", has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. Sales have been fueled by the multi-format smash "Bring Me To Life", featuring Paul McCoy of 12 STONES. It's at Number Two on the Billboard Modern Rock chart and Number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Little Rock, Arkansas-based group will embark on their maiden headlining tour Saturday in Nashville. The trek covers 15 shows before it wraps May 26 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
